There are many different kinds of clinical depression symptoms and it is important to recognize that depressive disorders affect people differently. They will vary depending on the type of depression you might have.

The good news is that this disease is very treatable once properly diagnosed. Usually within just 2 weeks of treatment clients will begin to feel "normal" again. There are many research studies that have determined this. In fact, Cognitive Behavior Therapy is one of the most successful.
You can also take a depression test to confirm that you are depressed and determine just how serious it really is. A very popular test is the Becks Depression Inventory test. Once you get an idea as to what clinical depression symptoms you are faced with, you can then begin to explore depression medications, therapy, and other treatment options.
