Depression Poems: When I'm Gone.
by Ciera Bertram
(Kells, Co Meath, Ireland.)
People move forward, life goes on, sometimes I wish I could just be gone;
From all this pain and all this hurt, I wish I was buried 6 feet beneath the dirt.
It's the only way out, I know it's sad, but I know that some people will glad. Rid of me, I'll be gone forever, some might ask why but it's for the better.
I wish I wasn't the person I am. I hate me inside and out, and so do others there's no doubt. I know its not right, I know its not fair and I really an sorry to those who care.
But when I'm gone and laid to rest, I wish u all the very best!

Ciera,
Your poem literally brought tears to my eyes. I can truly feel your sense of despair and your courage to reach out and be heard.... to finally be heard.
I hope that you do not carry out your wish. That you find the help you need, that you are able to surround yourself with loving, supportive people that will be there for you on this journey. You clearly have a huge heart and I hope that it leads you to a life full of love, joy and happiness.
Thank you so much for sharing yourself with me - with my visitors. I wish you peace during this holiday season.
Namaste,
Dana
