Lexapro side effects experienced by an individual vary depending on the person taking the medication. However, there are some common side effects that were identified via clinical trials that were conducted. Some of them are common and others are more rare. The clinical trials included over 1300 adult patients and 576 children (ages 12 and over) with major depressive disorder.
